What is the Bible all about?  Is it just an old book of disconnected stories and endless genealogies that somehow teach us moral lessons?  Is it some randomly chosen accounts of people who were somehow amazing enough to have their lives featured in the pages of Scripture?   Or is it simply a self-help rule book that’s there to help us better our lives?  Well, those are some self-centered perspectives aren’t they?  What about this?  The Bible shows us how the Lord kept His promises to a bunch of ordinary, everyday, faithless, godless sinners who didn’t deserve it.  How’s that’s for some good news?
