When Memory Fails Us: Moving from Remembering to Trusting Jesus, Part 1
Series: Encountering Jesus
Scripture: Mark 8:1-21
Episode: 1438

Scripture Summary:

In Mark 8:1–21, a large crowd gathers again, and Jesus, moved with compassion, miraculously feeds 4,000 people with just seven loaves and a few small fish. After everyone is satisfied, seven baskets of leftovers remain. Later, the Pharisees demand a sign from heaven, but Jesus refuses, grieved by their hardened hearts. As He and the disciples cross the lake, they worry about not having enough bread. Jesus rebukes them for their lack of understanding, reminding them of the miracles of the loaves and asking, “Do you still not understand?”
