Sometimes, we don’t chase God — we try to manipulate Him. We fast, not because we’re led by the Spirit, but because we think it will speed up an answer. We wake up at certain hours, not to connect with Him, but to force His hand. And for many of us, our intimacy with God only deepens when life falls apart.
In this raw conversation, we strip away the performance and talk honestly about the ways we use spiritual disciplines as bargaining chips, and why God can’t be manipulated. Instead, we’re invited into a relationship where His presence, not His presents, is the reward.
