Description
The Prime Minister has returned home from Papua New Guinea without a defence deal.
The two countries delayed signing the Pukpuk Treaty, instead resorting to a communiqué ahead of more talks.
PNG Prime Minister James Marape has now announced his defence minister will head overseas for talks with other nations about the Australia pact, with China the first stop.
