Many people believe that having God sit as judge is generally a bad idea since it perpetuates the concept of an angry, tyrannical god punishing those he is displeased with.

The scriptures, however, see God's judgment is a blessing that gives hope and life, bringing joy to the victim, and healing to the broken, and the disenfranchised in an evil world.
