Brett explains how people who start a business contribute to society by fixing a problem. The bigger the problem, the better and more profitable the business becomes if it’s able to meet that need. That is why business is great; if the business fails to meet the needs of the public, it will go under. Also, think of how many people make their living off of working for these large companies. Google alone employs tens of thousands of employees with large wages. The idea that money is bad and is the root of all evil is something that everyone is told growing up. What Brett and Laura challenge you to do in this episode is to reframe your biased view of money to a more neutral point of view.
