Why We Should Look at Historical Figures During Key Events In Their Lifetime

We all have to face situations where life gets in the way sometimes. My schedule in recent weeks has been packed with events from my job, family, and life in general. I did not have time to complete the research, record, and edit what would have been the topic for this episode. While I had a couple of options for this week, a new idea for a series came to me while listening to a podcast on a flight home to NC. As a collection of people, we need to look at historical figures, key events in their lifetime, and how they relate to today's lives. I have always been a history nerd. Besides math, history was my favorite topic during school, and I still find it fascinating. Join me on this first episode of looking at historical figures and how certain events helped them shape history.
