In this episode we tackle why we do or do not watch the horror genre, or any film or show. First we discuss the guiding principles and theories we bring to our viewing experience. Then, with shoutouts to “Get Out,” “It,” and several other horror titles, we explore the way the nature of human stories and hardwiring and the net-negative-net-positive principle affect how we engage the horror genre.
