He said he forgave the serial abuser John Smyth who was at the heart of the scandal that led to his resignation. In 2024 a damning review found that Welby "could and should" have done more to bring Smyth to justice.

Plus, we take a look at the week ahead for the economy, as bills are set to rise across the country and tariffs from President Trump may come into force.

@Laura The truth is that the Aston Martin might be 25% more expensive for a US citizen but that doesn't mean the US built car will be 25% cheaper. Historically, all prices are hiked.
