Description
On September 14, 1814, Francis Scott Key was in a British ship when he saw the U.S. base get bombarded by the British. The next day, Francis woke up and saw the U.S. flag be raised over the base. Inspired, Francis Scott Key would write a poem that would soon be sung all across the world: The Star-Spangled Banner.
