    • Too much sugar
    • Alpha verses beta cells in our love handle area. 
    • We are going to see changes in our face, arms, and legs before the belly because they have a lot more alpha cells.
    • Leptin is also a culprit. It makes it hard to feel satiated and therefore you eat more.
    • Stress - as cortisol increases you store more fat.
    • Not eating enough, a hypo-caloric diet.
  • There could be an epigenetic component to storing fat in your midsection as well.

Some things that can help eliminate fat around your midsection.

  • Increase your fiber intake.
  •  Healthy fats
  • Focus on your sleep quality 
  • Green tea instead of coffee
