250 kilometers divided over 6 days in the burning heat of the Moroccan Desert… that is the Marathon des Sables, one of the most challenging ultra runs in the world. Many people dream of one day running a marathon, but ultra runners take it a step further and need to perfect their training schedule and lifestyle to run these races. In this episode I talk to Ragna Debats. She is a Dutch trailrunner and has won the Marathon des Sables back in 2019. She tells me all her secrets for running and winning such a crazy event.
