Sterling Riethman is Vice President of Communications & Public Policy at New Belgium Brewing and Bell’s Brewery, where she leads the nation’s largest craft brewery’s public relations, government affairs, community impact, and internal communications strategies. A Denison University graduate with a B.A. in Communications and Psychology, Sterling brings a dynamic background across a variety of industries, including CPG, retail, and hospitality. Her leadership is rooted in relationship-building, connecting through storytelling, and a deep commitment to advocacy. A recipient of the Arthur Ashe Courage Award and Michigan Women’s Hall of Fame inductee, she is also a nationally recognized voice for survivors of abuse. Outside the office, you’ll find Sterling with her husband and two adrenaline-loving young sons, likely with a large iced coffee in her hand and a great playlist on in the background.
