Professor Matthew Kiernan is a world-renowned clinical academic and scientist, serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Institute Director at Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA). His research primarily focuses on neurodegenerative diseases, including motor neurone disease (MND) and frontotemporal dementia. Matthew is also a practicing neurologist, and both my mother and I have had the privilege of being his patients.
