Pastor Shelem Flemons continued in this series by explaining the seven heads of the beast of the Revelation 17. They are the seven major false religious systems from Babylon to the second coming of Christs. These are the major entities used by Satan to perpetuate deception.

So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. Rev. 17:3

And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.  10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.  11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.  Rev. 17:9-11

The verses above teach that there can be m ore than one application for a symbol. The seven heads are said to be seven mountains. They are also said to be seven kings. The seven mountains can represent the seven hills of Rome. The Roman Catholic Church claims authority over an area outside of the Vatican in the city of Rome in which are found seven distinct hils.

The seven Kings are the seven major powers that the devil has used since the time of Babylon which is the first major pagan kingdom to discriminate the the major errors that deceive the world. The seven heads are as follows.

1. 1. Babylon
2. 2. Medo – Persia
3. 3. Greece
4. 4. Pagan Rome
5. 5. Papal Rome (The Roman Catholic Church
6. 6. United States Of America when it speaks like a dragon (Rev. 13:11-17)
7. 7. The New World Order.

During the time that the Papacy is in obscurity starting in 1798, five of the heads had fallen, one is, which is the United States, and one is yet to come, (The New World Order) which will continue a short space. The eighth is said to be “of the seven.” before going into perdition. This represents the Papacy, as Sunday legislation exalts her to her former glory. She is the eighth which is of the seven because she has already been mentioned as one of the seven. Yet, this new rise to power will be marked.

True health is not taught in medical school. However, it is taught in scripture.

John 5:6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

Matt. 9:12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

Deut. 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 

True health is physical, mental and spiritual wholeness. You cannot be whole unless all three aspects of man are in harmony with the Bible standard. While the New Age movement also recognized these three elements, they do not recognize the God of the Bible as the source of spiritual life.

Only those who are whole need not a physician.

He urged Christ to show His confidence in the preserving care of His Father by casting Himself down from the Temple. He did not seek to do the will of God, but chose his own course, and then endeavored to secure the sanction of the Lord. There are thousands at the present day who are pursuing a similar course. They would have no difficulty in understanding their duty if it were in harmony with their inclinations. It is plainly set before them in the Bible or is clearly indicated by circumstances and reason. But because these evidences are contrary to their desires and inclinations they frequently set them aside and presume to go to God to learn their duty. Patriachs and Prophets, pp 440,441
