LEDE: Pear harvest in the northwest is wrapping up. But this season, many farmers are feeling a market shift after a major cannery in Yakima closed. It processed around two-thirds of all pears canned in Washington and Oregon. That’s according to the Pacific Northwest canned pear service. N-W-P-B’s Reneé Diaz spoke with farmers in Washington on the impacts. :20
