Description
In this episode, I chat with Xiye Bastida, a teenage climate activist based in NYC. Xiye, who was born and raised in Mexico as part of the Otomi-Toltec indigenous people, is passionate about bringing marginalized voices to the forefront of the climate change movement. We chat about how she organized a climate strike that brought 300,000 people to the NYC streets, tips on public speaking, and even how she met Jane Fonda and Leonardo DiCaprio 🥰!! Enjoy the episode!
