Our guest for this episode is Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Jim McCarty , a founding member of The Yardbirds, the band that eventually evolved into Led Zeppelin.

Jim was behind the drum kit during The Yardbirds heyday, which includes a lineup that featured three of the greatest guitarists of all time, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page. After The Yardbirds Jim was the drummer in the progressive rock band Renaissance. Jim is currently touring with the latest incarnation of The Yardbirds.
