Yet the majority of red counties are run by liberal Republicans. I discuss Springfield, Ohio, a Trump+23 county, where the local Republican officials are more bothered by the memes about illegal immigration than the illegal immigrants themselves. We must build a movement nationwide to populate local offices of red counties with actual conservatives. If we don’t do that, we will very soon face the stone-cold reality of every county being run by those with the worldview of Ryan Routh.
