3502 – October 29, 2024 – You Heard It Here First – I’m not tooting my own horn, but I have noticed after I make a comment or rhyme it often ends up on prime time. It’s ok with me, it truly is, after all it’s all about working together to save this nation from the political “bizz.”

Many years ago – I wrote the article “The Lady and the Snake” – making the parallel of our government … being the snake… AND Trump now reads that at many of his rallies. Lately I’ve been hearing him speak of the “Green New Scam” AND I had to look at my silly poem that I wrote back in 2019. Here is a sample:

You Heard It Here First

To all you faithful climate change deceivers,

Hear these words from global warming non-believers.

Sit down a moment with your Uncle Sam,

This message will be simple so you can understand.

We need to have this talk, so you will finally see

The Green New Deal is the threat upon our Liberty.

The existential threat you claim

Does not exist in Climate Change.

Your Green New Deal it is a scam

Elaborately plotted by sinister hands.

I’m here to protect America’s land

From shysters who boast of a “better” plan.

I do not like your Green New Deal,

American Liberty it wants to steal.

It does not fit our Constitution,

It might just cause a Revolution.

I cannot allow your Green New Deal,

Its confusing rhetoric is surreal.

Restrictions and mandates are the plan,

Your Green New Deal destroys the land.

All private property it restricts,

But that’s what makes America tick.

We are one people from sea to shining sea,

But our land is not community property.

From Father to Son and generations to come,

They worked and toiled ‘til setting sun.

Their land is their home and their occupation,

To seize it by tax would be usurpation.

And on that ground we firmly stand,

Cuz American citizens own their land.

You just can’t take it when you want,

Cuz, I’m tellin’ ya now,

That dog won’t hunt!
