Durga Roy is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the Medical Director of the Johns Hopkins Neuropsychiatry and Brain Injury Clinic, and Head Injury Outpatient Psychiatric Day Program. She is the Director of Education for the Johns Hopkins Psychiatry Internship and the Director for the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is board-certified in general adult psychiatry, and consult-liaison psychiatry and behavioral neurology/neuropsychiatry. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications focused on neuropsychiatric outcomes after traumatic brain injury. Her area of research interest focuses on predictors of psychiatric outcomes after traumatic brain injury, the neurobiology of depression after traumatic brain injury and the study of prognostic markers for depressive symptoms after traumatic brain injury using resting-state functional neuroimaging techniques.
