Yowie Sightings in the Dandenong Ranges

Although the Dandenong Ranges might be considered a prime area for Yowie activity, actual sightings have been rare. Nevertheless, there have been a few notable encounters, including one particularly interesting report from Emerald, located on the outskirts of the Dandenongs.

This account involves a local pastor who, after taking a fern from a gully at night, encountered a Yowie that appeared to be displeased by the pastor’s actions.

Additional Yowie Report from Malanda

In this podcast, two separate Yowie encounters are discussed. The second report originates from Malanda, a region near the Atherton Tablelands southwest of Cairns, which is recognized for frequent Yowie sightings.

In this case, both a husband and wife recount their experience of seeing a Yowie cross in front of their car. Their granddaughter, who was also in the vehicle, witnessed the creature as well.
