Sheikh Zayed, may God have mercy on him, had such great input to help education whether within the UAE or in the world. Therefore, the university was inspired by the idea of Zayed's smart palm tree for education following his steps in loyalty of his values in giving.
فضل المغفور له الشيخ زايد، رحمه الله، على التعليم سواء داخل الدولة أو في العالم العربي يعرفه القاصي والداني. ومن هنا استوحت الجامعة فكرة نخلة زايد الذكية للتعليم. اقتداء بزايد ووفاء لقيمه في العطاء.
