Toby has been an educator for the past 16 years. She started at a fledgling charter school which was an interdisciplinary project-based school serving a predominantly at-risk population in the downtown Reno corridor. Two years ago that school was transformed into what is now enCompass Academy where the mission is to “guide students to bright futures through academic, social/emotional, enriching, and personalized pathways.” Since its rebranding, Toby has proudly served as the Principal of enCompass Academy.
