Description

Today on the show Steven and Shaun are joined by special guests to discuss the upcoming iOS 18 software release on iPhones from September 16th.

The guys are joined by the author of the iOS Access For All book, Shelly Brisbin, to discuss the range of new accessibility features coming this year for people with various types of disabilities, including Eye Tracking, Music Haptics and Voiceover improvements.

Patrick O’Rourke from Pocket-Lint also joins the guys to talk about the more mainstream features within iOS 18 that excite him, and even some that don’t!

And we get your take on what’s exciting you about iOS 18 with a look at some of your comments coming in, alongside a demo of one of the most talked about new upgraded features - Braille Screen Input. Listener Sean Randall is on hand with a demo of the new capabilities.
