A week doesn’t pass without me buying a shirt

Football ibhola
Ibhola liyamu hlanyisa
Football makes him crazy

Collecting stamps etc ukuqoqa izitembu
Uyathanda ukuqoqa izitembu ezemazweni
He likes collecting stamps from different countries

Reading ukubala
awumboni engabali
can ever see them not reading

Watching T.v ukubukela iT.V
Ulivila lomuntu, akayenzi lutho. Ilinga liyaze lishone ebukele iT.V
She is lazy, never does anything. The day even passes while she is watching T.V

Gardening ukuyanza ingadi
Umtwana wakhe ukhuthele, uyancedisa abazali bakhe engadini
The child is energetic (form of praise) she helps her parents do the garden

Travelling hambahamba
Akahlali phansi, uthanda ukuhamba labantu emazweni
Doesn’t settle down, she likes going with people to different countries

Hunting ukuzingela
Nxa ehamba ukuyazingela uthatha umkhonto owaphiwa nguyisemkhulu
When going hunting he likes to take a spear given by his grandfather

Cooking pheka
Ngiyathanda ukupheka akakhekhe
I like baking cakes
