We are going going goneeee. This New Moon in Scorpio is really Mercury Retrograde’s New Moon! Let’s get into it.

This New Moon is happening at 28° of Scorpio on November 19, 2025, at 10:47 PM PT. Adjust for your time zone! Scorpio can point to where in our chart we tend to be private, but the Mercury Retrograde is offering a seldom-seen peek behind the curtain. Honestly, I think Mercury Retrograde is the lifesaver in this chart, keeping us from a psychotic state of full-blown limerence. THERE’S SO MUCH WATER IN THE SKY. All of the visible planets are in water signs besides Mars! Uranus in Taurus is also giving us a bitch slap of a reality check as well.

Venus and Mars are conversing with the nodes, reminding us to face our fears instead of fleeing. I also dig into themes around ~karma~ that came up during a candelight yoga class I attended. Karma may typically have us pointing and laughing at someone for “getting what they deserve” (Scorpio vengeance is UNMATCHED), but with Mercury Retrograde asking us to stop and reflect, we’re here to point the finger back at ourselves. Someone losing doesn’t equal us winning. Where can we pour that energy back into ourselves?
