It’s our first lunation out of the Retrograde Revolution of winter 2024 to 2025, right before the astrological season I dub “the taste of the future” where we’ll have a lot of major planetary shifts this spring through fall… but for now we bring on the New Moon in Taurus happening at 7° of Taurus at 12:31 PM PT on Sunday, April 27, 2025! This is our LAST NEW MOON IN TAURUS WITH URANUS IN TAURUS!

Uranus has been in Taurus since 2018, highlighting what facets of the bull are due for change. This New Moon, paired with a t-square from Mars and Pluto asks us: what have you outgrown? The Taurus steadiness needs us to step to the side and zoom out. Outgrowing things isn’t immediately visible to us. It’s incremental, the slow shift over time. It’s up to us to recognize when we feel it. Like an overgrown lawn: where do you need to clean up, edit, and refine?

Plus I go over how Uranus in Taurus, since 2018, has manifested through societal Venusian themes: the surge of fast fashion and the counter surge of thrifting (and Depop grifting), the messages around feminity and the “male loneliness epidemic”, plus the huge impacts on climate / the earth and finances (bitcoin + tariffs) ~ IT’S BEEN A TIME!
