Square Pegs was a tv show that debuted in the sept 1982 timeslot opposite the last season of MASH which would be a hard slot for anyone to handle - this show about adolescence and the painful attempts of two young girls Patty Greene and Lauren Hutchinson (played by the before Carrie Bradshaw, Jessica Parker and a young Amy Linker) to get into the IN-crowd was a trailblazer of its kind - yet it only lasted ONE season = what happened = what happened to the show Square Pegs that led it early demise = was it the sex drugs and rock and roll debauchery of the 80s,,,, ? Or something else?
