In this podcast, Violet Grigoryan examines the intersection of literature and power. By juxtaposing two poems, she demonstrates how political actors, through the stigmatization of certain speech patterns, attempt to delegitimize all voices of dissent. Grigoryan further explores the constructed opposition between so-called rational and emotional modes of expression, revealing its conventional and often manipulative character.
