A devotee's ardent plea, an invocation to the Almighty to relieve him from every facet of life except those that bind him to His will, His effulgence, infinite magnificence and immeasurable mercy. The poem identifies the attachment to the self as a formidable barrier in the spiritual path and pleads with the Almighty to help get over the notional lure of the ego.
