《大公報》的前輩陳凡那時對我說，做編輯，最重要的工作之一就是起標題，而標題要起得好，讀《唐詩三百首》最有用。睇番那個時代的報紙標題、電影名字，包括西片譯名，多數都能即刻吸引眼球，有好多還留低難忘的印象，比如《亂世佳人》《魂斷藍橋》《劍膽琴心》等等。近二三十年，起標題就越來越不講究甚而有點怪怪了
