In Hebrew, “Haverim(חברים)” means “friends.” In Jesus' day Haverim were companions in study - those dedicated disciples of the covenant community who studied God's Word together. 
希伯來文"Haverim"意思是"夥伴、朋友"。在耶穌時代"Haverim"特指研經夥伴─立約團體中一起學習上帝話語的門徒。以現代的話來說就是「屬靈夥伴」。
