我们走到公园门口的时候，我问他：“这里离你家远吗？”笑着说：“不远，就在前面，往右走五分钟。”我们边走边聊天，差点儿错过了一个红灯。我笑着说：“幸好我们停下来了！”
Wǒmen zǒu dào gōngyuán ménkǒu de shíhou, wǒ wèn tā: “Zhèlǐ lí nǐ jiā yuǎn ma?”Tā xiào zhe shuō: “Bù yuǎn, jiù zài qiánmiàn, wǎng yòu zǒu wǔ fēnzhōng.”Wǒmen biān zǒu biān liáotiān, chàdiǎnr cuòguò le yí gè hóngdēng.Wǒ xiào zhe shuō: “Xìnghǎo wǒmen tíng xià lái le!”
English:As we reached the park entrance, I asked,“Is this far from your home?”He said, “Not far — just five minutes to the right.”We were chatting while walking and almost missed a red light.
