Description

In this crazy commodified world of self-help and self-love, there are a ton of teachers and concepts which are supposed to "empower" us but often are so reductive in their context and delivery that they leave us feeling more confused, more at war with ourselves, and sometimes feeling more shame. Megyn Blanchard uses her relatable voice and laser-sharp insight to deconstruct, demystify, and sometimes debunk oversimplified pop-psychology, spirituality, personal empowerment, and relationship topics so you can integrate, heal, and thrive as a human. Listen weekly for the next level of transformation teachings, conversations, tools and gain a greater understanding of the Wholehuman complex.

Sandra Logan is an internationally known Psychic-Medium who has been written up in the New York Times and Oxygen Magazine. She has been helping people tune in to the energetics of their soul and connect with diseased loves ones professionally for 15 years.I asked her to help me demystify this idea of tuning into our soul or spirit and how to better listen in to the unique messages our life brings us to help along down our path. She and I discuss:The cross section between our soul's highest calling, destiny, and free will.Life's uncanny way of nudging us along when we're off track or not listening. How to know which opportunities are aligned. The signals our bodies give us.The synchronicity and support that shows up we're listening. The spirit(s) that guide us and want to help us.The difference between our conscious mind and soul.I met Sandra in 2014, and think you will find her loving energy healing and affirming. When I have had readings with her, they have all been deeply accurate and affirming. You can schedule readings with Sandra through her website. You can find more of Sandra on YouTube. She also does live talks on InstaGram on Monday evenings. You can currently hear Sandra the first Friday of every month at 7:15am Central Time, on 96.5 The Mix. Amanda Ros on Season 2 WHR discusses with Megyn Blanchard returning to and trusting our bodies' wisdom, personal power, and internal authority. We discuss women's womb space and how it relates to our "fertility" and "creative" power, how we know we are in our bodies, and how to balance the feminine and masculine energies. ***Amanda can be found through her website https://www.wholenessmirroring.com and on social media https://www.instagram.com/amandaarlenerose/ ***Find WHR on all major podcast platforms. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/wholehuman-radio-with-megyn-blanchard/id1458995176 https://open.spotify.com/show/1WXal14J5ZJFLYKpmrBZEL ***For more WholeHuman information or to find out about the Host, my coaching programs and articles are on my website https://megynblanchard.com social media is https://www.instagram.com/megynblanchard/
In this inaugural episode of WHR, season 2, I decided to break the internet with an outspoken, "Conservatish," reformed liberal named Peter Feliciano. A Long Island native who made his way back to New York during Covid is sure to offend you, make you laugh,  or at the very least, make you think. A lot of the mainstream narrative and neo-liberalism puts people in a position where they have to bend to the will of the woke mob, or else...Our conversation is the kind of conversation I've been wanting to have publicly for a long time, but have shied away from due to playing small (fear). I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, otherwise, I'm not here to make you feel comfortable. Find Peter Feliciano on Ig on YouTube He's got his music and podcast. Go Listen!!!
Self-worth gets bastardized in the self-help and spiritual world. Is everything a mirror of our self-worth, or are there more complexites to being human? In this solo show I address how to know if we have self-worth "issues," as they go largely unaddressed when we are "high-functioning."I help you identify lower level relating.I illuminate the three essential low self-worth clues, including the codependent's underlying core wounds of deservedness and worthiness and how able are we to receive love. For more WholeHuman information or to find out about my coaching programs visit my website and sign up for Wholehuman school, a free email series on building back a relationship from within. All of us are healing from something. Unfortunately, most of us are swimming in a lot of toxic, codependent, or less than loving situations therefor learning what love FEELS like is the first step to truly transforming our relationship with ourselves, and with others. But what does that really look like and mean? When do we take care of ourselves? Is conditional love just as healing? Robin Mack, a leader and activist in the GLBT and recovery community, cohosts with me on how to create more empowered relationships. Robin is someone who has had her own share of trauma and adversity, but who also walks the talk of personal transformation. I was fortunate to meet her at the beginning of my "real healing" journey, as she taught me what it means to feel safe and loved with other people. In this episode we dig into:What it means to heal through being seen in our power. How do we hold a safe space for people. How to let people make their own choices. How to acknowledge our limitations in helping others and doing our own personal work when helping others. How we hold this safe space for other people so we can start to experience what love feels like and attract a more supportive tribe. When is "tough love" or conditional love appropriate. How to take care of our own self-care.She also touches on sexual trauma, recovery, the GLBT community, safe self-expression.Robin Mack has been a licensed Massage Therapist & Yoga Instructor for 12 years while being a Co Creator of the GENDER book project. Based in the most diverse city in the world Houston, Tx. Robin has found many ways to contribute to having all people being taken care through twelve step recovery, Central City Co Op, Activism, being on the board of Transgender Foundation of America, speaking one on one grassroots level to reaching a world wide audience on gender identity. In this solo show, I break down the shadowy side of how we codependently try and change people, fix them, or show them the light. I give multiple examples of how this type of "managing" people shows up, and why it's not unconditionally loving. I also talk about the subconscious and unconscious imprints, wounds and reasons we are showing up in this toxic way which makes relationships sticky. No one wants another mother or father. Listen in as I help you shift this pattern and learn what you need to do to let go of this behavior. On this episode of WHR, Dr. Rachel and I deconstruct "false self" and what that looks like in our lives.Often "false self" gets espoused as something we are supposed to "demonize" or call out as "not true," or simply see it as limiting, and then suddenly it's tendrils are supposed to miraculously go away. But this kind of thinking actually keeps us held hostage by "false self" because it doesn't teach us how to go into relationship with the part of us that beautifully constructed and relied upon these protective, survival, and coping mechanisms.Join Dr. Rachel and I as we make clear what healing false self really looks like, how it shows up in our life, how it keep us in less than fulfilling circumstances, and what it really looks like to heal false self. She and I talk about the beautiful side effects of going into deeper reverence and relationship with all parts of our whole human experience and how this holistic healing enlivens us and allows us to follow a more authentic path. Dr. Rachel is a licensed clinical psychologist and healer who invites us to join her along The Numinous Path of sacred healing and soul enrichment for psychic liberation. She invites us to heal, reveal, refine and align our truest selves. She lives to support a movement for women to revolutionize, redefine, and reignite their truth. Dr. Rachel's work intends to deepen, empower, elevate and liberate. You can work with Dr. Rachel personally by visiting her website or finding her on Instagram. For more WholeHuman information or to find out about my coaching programs visit my website and sign up for Wholehuman school, a free email series on building back a relationship from within. Whether it's a major upheaval, an expansion period, a cocooning phase, or a period of learning who you are and how you relate to the world, there is always an astrological "why" that points to the energy we are feeling. What we decide to do with this information; how consciously we listen in to our own soul's path is completely dependent upon us: we can fight the energies of our charts, or we can learn to align with them. In this show Katie Sweetman brings an ancient tool which is largely over simplified or seen as a parlor trick into a scientific, technical, energetic and soulful context.  She and I discuss:Why knowing about our birth chart is helpful in our personal and collective lives. How our personal astrology sets up a map of our personal inclinations, soul's lessons, how we relate to others, what our wounds are, what we value, etc. The different cycles that we are all supposed to go through: growth periods, contraction periods, and healing phases. Why resisting the astrological energy makes life harder. The avatars and support that show up in tandem with the astrological energies. The collective energy that is going on now.I think you will find Katie to be extremely informative, in depth, and relatable. Find out how to get a reading with her at EmpoweringAstrology.com She is doing a webinar on how to read your birth-chart August 3, information can be found through her website and across her social media. In this early, early episode I interviewed Chelsea Macphail on the confusion around "expectations" in life and relationships. Most people in the personal development and spiritual space learn that expectations are the root of all their unhappiness and misery. Yet as humans, it's actually very grounding and gives us some dependability to have some level of expectations. Listen as Chelsea, a licensed marriage and family therapist and confidence coach, make some important distinctions on standards vs. fantasy vs. expectations. In this episode, I asked Iris McAlpine to interview me so I could tell the whole story which led to the birth of the WholeHuman mission, platform, and movement.Iris is a an amazing interviewer, with her own Podcast called Pure Curiosity, and she asks me some really important questions about:How to know when we are dissociated. The way we are all codependent to some degree. The neurological system when it comes to trauma.Positive and spiritual bypassing.Self abandonment as a "seeker."Developing a better relationship with yourself.Becoming embodied and present when we are feeling emotion so as not to disregulate further. The most important first step when rebuilding a relationship with yourself.WholeHuman is truly about the lessons I learned from using spirituality and self-help to further exacerbate the overly strong machinery of my mind and disconnect more from myself creating deeper chasms from within, while fueling my codependency which had me stuck in less than fulfilling circumstances in life and in relationships. If you would like to learn about the coaching I do with women and men, please visit my scheduling calendar and book a free intro call to find out how I work. It's dynamic. It's holistic. In this second part of my conversation with Sasha Tozzi, she and I dive deeper into dating, personal growth, and boundaries as a single woman who wants to playfully relate and date while still honoring herself. We continue our discussion on "relationship tiers," and how to detach when we love someone who isn't healthy or ready for intimacy.Where our attachment issues come from and why it’s not It just a "self-worth" issue in toxic relationships. How to use people and external relationships who embody what you want, as a potent futurizer and reinforcement for what you want. The truth about "bringing more to the table" and how we have to be careful not to use it as a limiting belief. How to play in the dating sphere (when you've been single forever) without making everyone "the one" while still honoring yourself. In what scenarios are "space filler" relationships okay, and how to know when we are ready for them. How dating can be joyful inner-work.How to become the boundary as opposed to setting boundaries when playing in the dating space.Honoring your femininity and sexual energy healthfully when dating. How to keep your cool when dating online and through "Bumble blocks."Discerning triggers and back stories from feeling through your justified feelings when dating. Sasha Tozzi does hypnotherapy and coaching for spiritual women. In my first official Co-host style show, I talk to Sasha Tozzi, a fellow coach and single woman, as we have a real-life conversation about discerning fear from intuition, the "light" side of codependency, being a big-hearted lover and the issues this can cause in relating when we don't have appropriate boundaries. We make distinctions of "intimacy tiers" for a better way of discerning relationship "safety," "emotional intelligence" and mitigating expectations. What does it mean to be a man? What does it mean to be a man in his authentic power? How can we as women help men, if at all? I interviewed Traver Boehm, the founder of the UNcivilized movement in order to bring a more holistic conversation to healing the distortions and unconsciousness that is keeping men stuck, codependent, and in less than fulfilling relationship circumstances. Traver brings humor, profound insight, and adult content to WholeHuman radio with his beautiful ability to tell stories and relate to the everyday man. *He and I address the mainstream self-help and healing paradigms that have left men out in the cold, and clarify the Primal-Divine.*We discuss The UNcivilized movement and what it means to integrate more authentic power, through connecting to your head, heart, and balls.*How men can actually come alive through facing their pain.*The most important thing men are missing out on by not becoming “UNcivilized”*How codependently looking to the external world kills men physically, spiritually, and sexually. *How we as women can help the men in our lives.*The importance of generosity in the bedroom.*And more adult content that I’ll leave for the show.Traver Boehm, is a men's coach, writer, TEDx speaker, and author of Man UNcivilized. You can find him on Instagram and pre-order his new book.
In this episode, I interview Nandi Hetenyi, a psycho-spiritual teacher, healer, and writer with a doctorate in clinical psychology.  She and I look at our collective and individual wounding, trauma, self-hate, and toxic nourishment through scrutinizing the Death Mother in our culture, our family of origin, and our mainstream mind-set training and spirituality. In this episode Nandi and I talk about:*Why looking at archetypal energies are helpful.*The distinction between having a Death Mother for a mother, and a "good enough" mother*Understanding how the Death Mother shows up in all aspects of our lives: culturally, and individually*How the Death Mother energy creates our trauma, wounding, and disconnection from self.*How to re-mother ourselves, or heal the archetypal Death Mother wound.*How we internalize the collective Death Mother and how this effects our creativity, self-love, ability to expand and grow.*How the elemental feminine has been oppressed by this Death Mother energy*How we have internalized the patriarchy*The shadow sides of feminine/goddess energyNandi has carved out her own path of healing trauma based on her 25 years of clinical experience, along with an equal amount of time studying and practicing Buddhism, yoga, meditation, shamanic healing, and energy healing.  Please find her on Instagram and on her website to find out about her coaching and healing programs. This is the second episode in my solo series on Intimacy. Intimacy is impossible with others if we don't have an intimate, loving, trusting relationship with ourselves. Most of us have a relationship with ourselves through our heads: our patterns, our wounding, our conditioning. Building back a relationship from within is essential to our self-worth, self-esteem and self-love. It allows us to clear through codependency. It allows us to have a trusting center from within. It allows us to communicate authentically within partnership. Get out your note pad. Take notes! Creating Intimacy Mini Series. Most people are really confused about what true intimacy is, yet creating deep, fulfilling intimacy is where we thrive. In this solo-show I help you understand what intimacy is and isn't, why we are creating less than fulfilling relationship dynamics, where our intimacy wounds are and how they show up as patterns. Whether you are a love avoidant or codependent, creating intimacy is easier than you think when you understand where you are coming from when creating intimacy. Self-help has demonized "attachment" as the root of all dysfunction in relationships, and unfortunately that is just not true. If you identify with the term "high-functioning codependent," this show is for you. Join Kelsey Grant and I as we tease out healthy attachment vs. unhealthy attachment, and why there is so much confusion and misunderstanding in the self-help world which can leave people in more toxic situations, bypassing their needs, and coming up against the same less than fulfilling relationship scenarios. We address fusion vs. attachment. Owning our needs so we don't come off as needy. Recognizing when someone is not in alignment with our dating purpose. Realistic dating vs. actual relationship dynamics. Creating an emotionally safe "couple bubble," and how essential "attachment" is in loving relationships. Get more of Kelsey Grant on Instagram and at her website, and her new Power Couple Podcast. She's kind of amazing, I hope you enjoy her as much as I do.
In this episode I asked Robert Burney, a pioneer in the area of codependency recovery & inner child healing, to talk about his perspective on Codependence. Years ago when I was researching Codependence he was the first one I found to take a comprehensive, psycho-emotional-spiritual view of the makings of this childhood defense mechanism. He also, is the only one I know of making it a broader human condition. I wanted to share his in depth description of the myriad of ways in co-dependence shows up in our lives. * Learn about his path of codependence recovery born out of his own sobriety. * His inclusive and universal definition of Codependence,.* How codependence develops as a defense mechanism effecting our neurological pathways and spiritual connection. * How to healthfully build back a relationship with ourselves that clears this pattern.  * How to find the emotional material we have not addressed. * The dangers of traditional "detachment" and Law of Attraction teachings. His first book Codependence The Dance of Wounded Souls has been called "one of the truly transformational works of our time.”  His website http://joy2meu.com offers over 200 pages of free original content on codependency recovery, inner child healing, relationship dynamics, alcoholism/addiction, fear of intimacy, Twelve Step Spirituality, New Age Metaphysics, emotional abuse, setting boundaries, grief process, and much more.  Robert has a mobile friendly website - http://joy2meu2.com which was launched in May 2018 - is a redesign of the joy2meu.com home page and site index page in mobile friendly format to link people to his free original content on sites that provide a mobile friendly format.
