Welcome to Alistair! You may have heard him commentating at the BIG UK rally circuits such as Silverstone. Alistair talks us through what a Rally Co-Driver does; some of the world famous rally drivers he has commentated on, and the cars he has driven. He talks about his favourite rally car that was made in the North-West of England many years ago along with a hair raising escape from an argument with a rock on a Scottish beach while co-driving in a rally. I caught up with our Rector, Paul Roberts who is currently on a pilgrimage from Dover to the St Bernard's Pass in Switzerland. Paul is walking approx 1,100 kilometres (683 miles). He talks through what a Pilgrimage means to him, his family and all in the Maund Group of Churches in Herefordshire, here in England. So far he has walked 300kms (186miles). Paul also tells us about his study of military history complete with his podcast series "Just A Walk in The Sun". Clare first discovered a few facts about the Herefordshire Suffrage Campaign when working for the Hereford Cathedral Perpetual Trust. At that time she had considered writing a book about it and like many of us with busy lives, it is often the case of, I will start it tomorrow! Then the pandemic arrived so Clare decided to research the Herefordshire Suffrage Campaign and wrote a book now available 'Hard Work - But Glorious'.
