Call me neurotic but I find it incredibly disrespectful to be late. In this week's episode, I talk through what being late actually signifies to the person who may be waiting for you and how I avoid being late myself. I'm also sharing the latest updates on our move to Utah- all while recording from a campsite in the middle of nowhere Georgia. I recently had the opportunity to be a guest on the Extraordinary Podcast hosted by Connie Durham. In this interview, I share a bit about my past and upbringing and how it shaped who I am today. You will hear how I overcame some pretty traumatic situations and how I chose a different path that has given me a joy-filled life and thriving marriage. My relationship is not "perfect." In fact, Adam and I are opposites in many ways and it took a lot of communication to get us to where we are today. If you are struggling in your marriage and constantly wondering if you chose the right partner to do life with, I highly encourage you to change this thought pattern. Instead of trying to change each other, work on ways you can better understand and appreciate these differences, and using them to strengthen the bond you share. This episode is right in line with what I talk about all the time on this podcast, my commitment to growth in both my professional and personal life. Give it a listen!Let’s Connect! I share tons of fitness tips and more behind the scenes on my social accounts.Website Instagram LinkedIn FacebookYouTube
I am the healthiest I have ever been in my life at 41 years old and I have the FASTerWay to Fat Loss program to thank for that.Back in my 20s and 30s, I was undereating and over exercising. If you have small kids, I'm sure you can relate. When you're so busy managing the house, running errands, and child-rearing, it's easy to put yourself last- especially if you don't have a plan. That's why the FASTerWay has been perfect for me. I don't have to think about what I'm going to eat that day or what workout to do- it's all built in to an easy to follow app on my phone. In this week's episode, I break down the 4 components of the program that has helped me feel my best and lose weight.A big part of the program is drinking enough water so I have my favorite water bottles linked below:Fruit Infuser Water BottleHalf Gallon Water Bottle with Time MarkersJoin the 5-Day Belly Blast program with me! I often hear from moms who chose to stay home with or homeschool their kids while they were younger say they feel insecure and “behind” when they decide to start their own business. The truth is, there is no “right” time to start and you have to do what feels right for you and your family. Being a caretaker is not something to regret, because your kids will never need you the way they need you when they are school age (or younger!) but entrepreneurship will always be there. This week, we hear from Lacey Harnar, a Certified CFO and owner of Pathway CPA Group. She also spent time in network marketing, homeschooling her 3 kids, investing in real estate, and speaking to the masses. In this episode, Lacey speaks with us about pivoting and how she uses numbers to help business owners get unstuck.Lacey has been assisting small-business owners and real estate investors with tax strategy & planning, tax return preparation, accounting, and bookkeeping, and business success for nearly 20 years. She tells us how she hired and grew her team so that she could step away from the day to day work of being a tax strategist for businesses and step into her higher calling of helping business owners with mindset and growth. If you’re interested in learning more about Lacey and her services check out her website and Facebook page. And if you want to download my list of mindset books that I mention in the episode fill out the form here. Let’s Connect! Stress. We all have it. I’ve been in a ragey funk since deciding to list our house on the market and move across the country.Even though it’s what I wanted to do and what I believe is best for my family, it has still brought on a lot of stress. But the thing about stress that most people don’t realize is that your body can’t tell the difference between the kind of stress that comes from a lion chasing you and the kind of stress caused by having to clean my house with 7 kids around.Obviously one is more dangerous than the other, right? But our body goes into fight or flight mode either way.One thing that can help is changing your perception about the stress you are experiencing.Want to learn how I changed my entire mood (and breast milk supply!) this week by changing how I am viewing the stress in my current situation?Tune in to the podcast to find out! These are the supplements I mention in the episode: - Moringa Powder- Body ArmorLet’s Connect! We have a lot on our plates as we prepare for our move out west. We're preparing our home to list on the market and it got me thinking about integrity. It seems not many people have it these days. There are a few minor issues with our house that I feel determined to fix before listing it for sale as a matter of integrity. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing I sold a home with a leaky roof to an unsuspecting buyer.I didn't always have the most integrity. This week, I share a story from my teenage years involving theft, but that actually shows my true entrepreneurial spirit that I possessed even at a young age. Let’s Connect! Did you know I am a certified health and fitness coach through the FASTer Way to Fat Loss Program. I've been using this program myself for over 2 years and have seen tremendous results in my own health and now want to offer my services to you!I'm a crossfit burnout and didn't ever have a good nutrition strategy until I joined the FASTer Way. Eating intuitively wasn’t working for me- I was running off of cortisol and my natural high energy at the cost of adrenal fatigue and muscle wasting. I was undereating and over caffeinating, not sleeping enough and working out too hard. I  ended up inflamed and sensitive to foods I normally could have eaten without an issue not to mention I was 20 pounds heavier. So in today's episode, taken from a recent Live I did over in my Facebook Group- Rise and Thrive with Tiffany Wickes- I share everything you need to know about the FASTer Way program. You'll get a customized nutrition plan complete with macro-balanced recipes and allowing for some flexibility based on your own lifestyle and nutritional needs. You'll also get an exercise plan with variety so you don't get bored and rest days so you don't burn out! Interested? Send me a message on my website or Instagram! The next program starts March 25th!Learn more about the FASTer Way here.Let’s Connect! 39. Mom Guilt Much?

39. Mom Guilt Much?

2024-02-2722:21

Since returning home from our trip to Utah and starting to plan our move out west, the kids have had mixed feelings about our impending transition. This could lead me to feelings of mom guilt as I wonder things like, "am I doing the right thing?" "is this the best decision for our family?" and so on. But the truth is, as moms, we're all just doing the best we can. It's easy to let society's opinions about how we should parent and raise our little people affect the decisions we make and our own feelings about our choices, but I challenge you to stand firm in your beliefs and release the mom guilt that can come so easily. Because when we our feeling guilt, we are no long flourishing or growing, and that is not a good place to be as a mom, wife, or business owner! My new website is LIVE! I worked with Maggie Schneider from Hilltop Help and will be updating the blog and website more frequently during our move and cross-country road trip with 7 kids! 38. Follow the Feeling

Since getting back from our snowboarding trip to Utah, Adam and I have had a strong feeling of wanting to move from our home in Georgia. Do you ever get that feeling of "unsettledness"? It leads many people to battles with anxiety but I am under the belief that when people feel unsettled for an extended period of time, that feeling comes from living a life that is no longer aligned with where you want to be. In this episode, I break down my beliefs on the subject of following those signs from God and gut feelings to make a change AND share with you our big news! Let’s Connect! We're talking a bit differently about health and fitness today with our special guest Dr. Amanda Thompson of Rooted Physical Therapy. Dr. Amanda is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to pelvic floor health and she shares the importance of prioritizing your pelvic floor health for both men and women. If you've been suffering from back pain, constipation, urinary leakage, or a variety of other symptoms, it's time to get to the root cause of your dysfunction, and it could very well be issues stemming from your pelvic floor! I was blown away by this conversation and know it will help listeners no matter their age or phase of life! Commitment is one of the 3 C’s I share on this week’ podcast where I break down the 3 C’s of Success as described by Dan Sullivan and Benjamin Hardy in my latest read: 10x is Easier than 2X: How World-Class Entrepreneurs Achieve More by Doing LessYou can suck at doing something but as long as you are committed to sticking it out, you will eventually achieve success. If you believe you are capable and see it through, no matter how long it takes to get there, you will do great things. Let’s Connect! The New Year is always a time for people to set big goals and resolutions for the year ahead. While most people end up giving in on their goals, I wanted to share a few time-based challenges you can implement to change your life. As a fitness coach, I am not following the 75 Hard challenge created by Andy Frisella but I love the idea of incorporating more movement, water, and outside time into our daily routines. Whether you're looking to purge all of your useless items and create a more minimalist home with a declutter challenge, or spend less time on your phone this year, this episode has something for you! You can find the Gratitude journal I reference in episode here. Let’s Connect! I share tons of fitness tips and more behind the scenes on my social accounts.Website Instagram LinkedIn FacebookYouTube
Happy New Year! This week I chat with @brittneyceo about all things manifestation in entrepreneurship.I am not typically one to believe in all of the "woo woo" when it comes to opening a business because I have always felt it goes against some of my religious beliefs in trusting in God but Brittney opened my mind to a whole new process around mindset. I open up about some of my biggest fears and share my feelings of unworthiness- feelings I am sure many of you can relate to. Brittney has coached hundreds of business owners with her 1 on 1 coaching and courses. And the coolest thing? She started out in network marketing! Take a listen back to my previous episode Go Ugly Early as I share some of my mindset struggles around starting this podcast! It's a good one. Let’s Connect!
