I Get Lost In My Mind

I Get Lost In My Mind

2022-02-2426:55

I get lost in my mind and that's where I've been lately. I get real with you about how I've felt in a weird funk and how even if you're only surviving and taking things one day (or one TASK) at a time, that's enough. This is how I've been, how I've still maintained habits, how some days are high and some days are low. There wasn't any real structure to this episode but I just share my current struggles that maybe you're facing right now too. A few things that've helped me, etc.   You can do hard things.   Connect w/ me on Instagram www.instagram.com/sadesescapades

(Part II of II) New Year, New Intentions   // (Part I is: Reflections & Wrapping Up 2021)   In this episode, I talk about how to set new intentions for the new year! I talk all about why having a reason WHY you set intentions is helpful, visualization for a new year, picking words as a theme/focus for the new year, mantras of the new year, how to set goals, some of my goals, what to not bring in the new year, planning for the new year, and more!   I started doing this at the end of 2019 (wrapping up and setting intentions) and it has helped me keep focus and be more successful in what I want to work towards.    I hope this is helpful and hope your new year is full of love, light, happiness, and whatever you desire! (Part I of II)  This episode talks about how to reflect, review, and wrap up your year to prepare you for the upcoming one.  It allows you to think about what you accomplished, what deserves to be celebrated, what you want to leave behind, and more. I also talk about summing up my year in one word, which I've done for the past few years. Listen to find out mine!   I do this to end the year on a good note, figure out what I want to do more of and less of. I hope you find this helpful!   (Part II is all about the new year and setting INTENTIONS and goals! I separated it in case you want to reflect on New Year's Eve & set goals/intentions New Year's Day.)    Much Love, Sades   Connect w/ me on Instagram www.instagram.com/sadesescapades

Surprise! Bonus episode this week!   Do you ever have a shitty day that kind of wakes you up or shakes you into being like, I need things to change? Or maybe I'll blame it on Daylight Savings shorter days make everything worse too. Whatever it may have been, a chaotic combo has made me realize I need a SHIFT.   Shifting into a new season literally (winter is coming :( ) but also, figuratively. I NEED to be more intentional in many different aspects. With my time, with PLANNING, and with living life in general.   This episode is all about that shift from Sunday when I made the realization until today when I had a really good full day of filling up my cup and making me feel good.    I got home from my adventure and wanted to record about it.   And sending love to anyone else struggling lately.   Connect w/ me on Instagram www.instagram.com/sadesescapades

Things will get better. You are cared about and loved.
This episode was a hard one. Very emotional and had to stop recording several times to wipe my tears.   I talk all about the loss of my 16 year old dog, Angel, who was my soulmate, my best friend, and so much more than just a dog. She was my baby and I can't even put into words how much she meant to me.  I talk about our journey, her health battles, "preparing myself" for her passing as she grew an old age, how we made her last few days special, and how I was afterwards in my grief journey. This episode was difficult to record and face and I have been putting it off for a while now. She passed away at the end of July in 2020. It is still hard for me to talk about and I miss her every single day.    I hope this episode helps you with any loss you may have had or may have in the future.    I talk about hard and emotional and real things because I want to let people know they are not alone and people understand them and are there to listen and support them. To talk about grief because it is hard and difficult and unique to each person and to each of their losses.   This is the hardest thing I've ever dealt with. Prepare for tears, love pouring out of me, and all that.   Thank you for letting me share this experience and relationship with you.   Connect w/ me on Instagram www.instagram.com/sadesescapades
