Josh is legit. When it comes to running, self-care, a purpose in life, and how to handle money, this guy knows what's up and helps other people too.     In this episode, we talk about:   1. A lot of people have a rocky start to running or whatever journey they are starting.   2. It's okay as adults to seek out help from other people who know their sh*t. In fact, that is how our economy works!   3. How amazing it is to give back because we're all on this planet together.   And if the thought of saving for retirement is scary right now (eek!), you gotta to check out Josh's financial planning services: jm@financialadvisinggroup.com Website: www.financialadvisinggroup.com      Check out Back On My Feet, an AMAZING non-profit org that uses running to empower homeless individuals: www.backonmyfeet.org       -------------------------------   Apply for 1 on 1 Coaching with Jaclyn: http://www.imperfecteating.com FB: https://www.facebook.com/jaclyn.ricchio IG: https://www.instagram.com/jaclynricchio/ Blog: www.jaclynricchio.com
2.5 years ago, I felt really crappy about life. I had just quit my teaching job. I have a BA and MA in teaching, invested thousands and thousands of dollars, and I just completely left the career. I was at a job where I worked 50+ hours a week making outbound calls to help people troubleshoot tech stuff I didn't understand. And my 31st birthday was around the corner. I didn't feel all that much better about 31 from 30. I needed something for me. So I started running.     It changed my life. It can change yours too.     -------------------------------   Apply for 1 on 1 Coaching with Jaclyn: http://www.imperfecteating.com FB: https://www.facebook.com/jaclyn.ricchio IG: https://www.instagram.com/jaclynricchio/ Blog: www.jaclynricchio.com

In this episode, I talk about getting over caring what other people think of you. It's hard. It's a process. It is never perfect, but there is hope. Turns out we can learn to be confident and not worry about what people are saying about our bodies, our running form, our clothes, our pace, our mileage... and the list goes on. As a former worry-wart AND negative Nancy, I am here to tell you that you can be a kind Karen while you are running and find other caring Catherines too.  No freal, you can learn to stop worrying about other people without being an Olympic athlete/best of the best runners. xoxo   ----------------------------- Hi!! I am Jaclyn. I learned to run and lost 25lbs in the process. Now I help regular women start running and lose weight.  -------------------------------   Apply for 1 on 1 Coaching with Jaclyn: http://www.imperfecteating.com FB: https://www.facebook.com/jaclyn.ricchio IG: https://www.instagram.com/jaclynricchio/ Blog: www.jaclynricchio.com
In this episode, I talk about how my over-consumption of calories caused my weight gain, how I am no longer afraid of carbs, and yeah, I have cookies and pizza every now and then too without going overboard.   A diet is a tool that we can use to learn about food, buuuut we are the ones who control our lives and have to figure out a way we can eat, live, and be happy, healthy, and strong.      And if you're like me, you're gonna wanna have carbs and cake.   xoxo     --------------------------- Hi!! On today's episode, I connect with Golf Coach Rob Sweno who tells us some familiar stories about how to get better at anything.   We chat about: -how running weaved its way through both of our lives and randomly connected us 11 years ago... though neither of us were runners... and how it reconnected us recently! -the importance of practice and consistency as an adult -the Imposter Syndrome!!! -what a coach does to help beginner athletes -using our errors to help us get better -and how to transfer what you're learning in one situation to a broader application in life     You can find out more about Rob's coaching and golf course at: rob@boonecreekgc.com http://www.boonecreekgc.com/ https://www.facebook.com/BooneCreekGolfClub/         -------------------------------   Apply for 1 on 1 Coaching with Jaclyn: http://www.imperfecteating.com FB: https://www.facebook.com/jaclyn.ricchio IG: https://www.instagram.com/jaclynricchio/ Blog: www.jaclynricchio.com
