In this, the final episode of our very first season, Zat (just Zat!), Editor of luxury print and online publication The Peak discusses his approach to storytelling for different platforms. He emphasises tailoring content specifically for each platform's unique audience rather than just copying and pasting posts and he explains his process for parsing long-form stories into bite-sized pieces for the likes of Instagram and LinkedIn, focusing on the behind-the-scenes conversations with profiles that show a more personal side. Throughout the our conversation Zat stresses the importance of understanding each platform and creating dedicated content to nurture an audience on each rather doing so simply to try and drive them back to your website. As ever you can find Zat and all my fascinating guests from the first season of ‘The Business of Storytelling’ on every platform you could wish for!* Spotify* Apple Podcasts* Vimeo* YouTubeThis podcast is brought to you by Vimeo, the enterprise video platform solution to create and manage stunning video marketing and communications that engage customers and employees and which just had introduced Vimeo Central.Vimeo Central is a secure, AI-powered video hub designed to centralise, extract, and share knowledge. You see Nadia believes stories are everywhere but she knows you’ve got to go out and get them, a lesson she learned during her time with CNN. I've never liked the phrase "vendor" and try never to refer to "the client" like some 1970's comedian referring to "her indoors". At the end of the day, we're just two people doing our best to achieve a common goal and if you're really lucky sometimes you transcend the boundaries of business to become great friends, like me and Nikki.Nikki's done it all in a career that spans finance, insurance, telecommunications, retail, logistics, IT, sports & property across APAC. She's been on both the agency and the client side but has come to specialise in managing cross-functional teams to scale businesses by constructing bottom-up, data-driven marketing strategies. She has a strong brand and digital background with extensive knowledge in MarTech, mobile and eCommerce. She believes brands are built on great stories that contribute to even better experiences, which is handy cuz that’s what we talked about! This podcast is brought to you by Vimeo, the enterprise video platform solution to create and manage stunning video marketing and communications that engage customers and employees and which just had a massive upgrade as you can see!You can find more fascinating episodes of ‘The Business of Storytelling’ in all you favourite places including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube and Vimeo of course.Wherever you watch or listen don’t forget to like, subscribe, share and rate so that we can spread the word and help the whole world become better storytellers. If you’d like to receive more stories for storytellers, subscribe to our blogs and newsletters at https://mooreslore.substack.com.
