This Episode of the SHAPESHIFT Radio Podcast explores the importance of Social Media and review sights and asks the question, are negative comments deal breakers? Social media and all the sites that pop up every day inviting and allowing people to comment on who you are, how you do business and whether or not someone liked the experience or not, means that every business owner, expert or coach out there has to deal with the eventual reality of a negative comment. Whether warranted or not, the more growth you have as a business, the more chances and opportunities for less the perfect reviews to show up for public scrutiny. Positive statements and comments, reviews and testimonials are always lovely to receive and everyone wants them, handling those are pretty simple. However, when the reality of someone who isn’t happy, or for some reason posts something less than nice about you, your services or products you face the choice of what to do next. Do you remove the negative comment? Do you respond? How do you respond? Do you never allow yourself to be open to any comments whatsoever? Whether we like it or not, we are subject to the review of our peers, our clients and customers and the public at large like never before. Even our competition can weigh in on our public profiles if they so choose and unless we block everything, we are subject to having to deal with situations as they arise. How you represent yourself to the public eye is an ongoing conversation that we at the SHAPESHIFT Radio Podcast take very seriously because it can make a huge difference to the future growth of your positive and reputation. This episode is all about one of the most important but never talked about "relationship" of our lives, that is our relationship to money. Deborah Bishop, or Rev Deb if you prefer, delves deeper into the genre of relationship in this episode by opening the door to a very important but not discussed conversation about money. Most people have no idea they have any kind of relationship to money or that a relationship to money even exists and yet it does, and it is showing up in their lives in every way possible. From our bank accounts to our ability to do business, the career paths we choose to the car we drive, our credit card balances, our investments, or our utter disregard for planning for our future, money is the relationship all of this touches upon. The fact that money either is available or unavailable to us tells us a lot about how we feel about money. Whatever amount of money you allow into your life is a complete reflection of your feelings, and yes, you do have feelings when it comes to money. You may not be aware of it, but there are triggers wired into your consciousness when it comes to the cash flow conversation. Understanding how you feel about money is the first step to allowing more of it in your life. Continue this conversation with Deborah by hopping on her calendar at http://www.TRActionNow.com. In this episode, your host, (Rev) Deborah Bishop continues exploring the complex world of "relationships" by opening up a conversation about struggle. Believe it or not, struggle is a relationship we can all relate to and it has been going on for longer then you know. Following on the heels of the Primary Relationship episode Deborah connects the dots between how influenced we all are by that Primary Relationship as it relates to the all too common reality of struggle in our lives. If your parents or guardians struggled in their lives odds are the struggle is an ingredient you believe in whether you realize it or not. Patterns and habits that have integrated into your subconscious play out continually, as is their job, and without "tuning" into them, you will always be subject to their limitations. This may be perfect if they are actually serving you, however a belief that plays out and takes away from what you really want is a belief you will want to recognize and do something about. This episode of An Alternative View does it's best to help you understand this at the deepest level. If you want to take this conversation further or explore another conversation please go to http://www.TRActionNow.com and get on Deborah's Calendar.
In this episode, your resident experts, Deborah Bishop; Broadcast Your Brand creator and Inner Image Authority, "Because you'll never out-perform your own self-image", Lorenzo Hickey; Business Development Specialist, Founder of SHAPESHIFT World and Paula Allen, Social Media Expert and soon to be Founder of a Virtual Assistant Academy explore the realities of having you business accessible on smartphones and tablets. The truth is that it is estimated that there will be over 230 million smartphones in the marketplace today in the United States alone! Are you ready for this? Having a mobile-ready web presence is not just a good idea, it is essential to the growth of your brand and business. If you don't have a mobile-friendly site, odds are you will end up giving business to your competitors. Not because you want to, but rather because they have a mobile site. It is just as simple as that. In this new decade, the virtual world is quickly taking over the marketing and branding needs of the world. And your smart-phone is becoming the number one delivery method of not only your message but also your products and services. Your clients and customers are not only able to access you and whatever information you want to provide them with. As well as collect payments and set the wheel turning for delivery of products, or the booking of appointments. All at the click or a swipe of a finger. The SHAPESHIFT Radio Podcast is dedicated to your success on every level and this show, as with every episode discusses the ins and outs of what it takes for you to have the best success. Momentum is everything in business, to continue this conversation please text the word SSMedia to "72000" or email Deborah directly at BookDeborahBishop@gmail.com.
In this episode, your experts Lorenzo Hickey - grow your business specialist - Deborah Bishop - media and personal development specialist - and Paula Allen - social media expert - all work together to answer the question, "Are people seeing the real you?" This is a very important question because in this age of media and marketing, being seen in inevitable. What people are seeing and how they relate to you is the real question. Image is everything, however, an inauthentic image is not going to gain you ground in any way that will allow you longevity. Imagine being stuck in an image you don't relate to? If you don't relate to it, your customers or clients won't either ultimately, and this will cost you in closed business and a very real sense. This is not to say that you won't build your business, it is to say that the business you build may not be the one you enjoy! It is way to easy these days to feel like you have to project certain images of yourself and your business to be part of the "mainstream" but the truth is that the more you feel like everyone else the more appear like everyone else and the very thing you desire - to stand out - doesn't happen. It takes courage and the best move you can make is to know yourself and become crystal clear on what you stand for and believe in. That is the image you want to project. Allowing people to see the real you, does not mean having to expose your personal life unless your business and brand is specific to that, and even then you want to filter what you project. It does mean that you are putting your best foot forward in showing the virtual world marketplace who you are and what you stand for. If you want to take the conversation further then please text the word "SSMedia" to 72000 or email Deborah at BookDeborahBishop@gmail.com.
Enjoying a little solo time again, your host (Rev) Deborah Bishop goes back to her roots in talking about relationships. Known as an Inner Image Authority, "because you'll never outperform your own self-image" Deborah has built a successful career around assisting individuals in developing the most important relationship of their lives, their relationship to themselves. In visiting this topic, Deborah focuses on the first relationship in your life and that is your primary relationship. Your Mom and Dad, or guardians, or however it was that raised you, were highly influential in how you believe relationships need to be in your life today. For better or for worse. Please know this is not about pointing fingers and blaming anyone, Deborah believes that the people who raised you did the best they could do, at least in most cases, so it's not about assigning anyone blame. It's all about accepting things for how they are and learning from them. Circumstances that play out in our lives teach us all sorts of things, and there is nothing more pivotal than the first influences whose own experiences, including their fears and concerns, are passed on to us. When we are really small we have no way of knowing what works and what doesn't so we have no choice but to accept things as they are as if the way they are, is the way they will always be! Join Deborah in gaining some valuable insight into the world of your primary relationships. To continue this conversation simply email Deborah at JoinDeborahBishop@gmail.com.
In this episode, hosts Lorenzo Hickey, your business expert, Paula Allen, your social media expert and Deborah Bishop, your broadcast brand and inner image expert, explore the "reel" truth behind videos! What does video mean to your branding? What does it mean to your growth and your bottom line when it comes to the marketplace and where you fit. Video has become one of the top ways to communicate who you are, what you are and why you are the right choice, and it represents everything you want people to know about you and your business. It is either going to do you a lot of favors or, it may do you a lot of harm. Video does matter as video would appear to be the voice of the virtual marketplace. All due respect to podcasts as they are huge in the marketplace today, the second largest search engine in the world is Youtube, and with that the discussion of whether podcast or video ends because Youtube is video-driven. We would say, do both! Yes of course blogging also has it's place in the virtual world of business and branding, and if you can use all three, go for it! Let us not also forget however the world of vlogging which again brings video into the spotlight. No matter how you slice it, video is the way of the future and will only continue to grow and dominate the way we all do business. Yes, there are right ways and wrong ways to do your videos. Yes, some strategies need to be applied to see your best results and yes, your content and your look matter, they set the mood. The good news is it's not as hard as you may think, especially with the help of experts to light your path. Want more? Text the word "SSMedia" to 72000 and get into the conversation! Your SHAPESHIFT Radio Podcast with hosts Paula Allen, Lorenzo Hickey and (Rev) Deborah Bishop, along with producer Michael Catalano, continue to explore the world of entrepreneurialism. The question in this episode is one that needs to be explored at a deep level because it's one that businesses, entrepreneurs and experts deserve to pay attention to. And that is, when is information, too much information? In this era of Social Media marketing and broadcasting your brand, how much information is too much information, is the most important thing to be asking yourself right now. Everyone posts everything all the time and sometimes, in fact, a lot of the time, what gets posted is not really appropriate information when it comes to growing a successful brand and supporting a successful business. It is a fine line between information that builds a relationship the way the world wants their business to be done these days and gives too much information to where the world is turned off and won't do business. Professionalism must be supported, and understanding how to do this is exactly why we are having this conversation in this episode. What more? Please email Deborah at TheFactoryInternational@gmail.ccom.
In this episode, Deborah dares to ask some of the harder questions when it comes to the world and finances. In this day and age, the financial landscape can be a tough one to navigate, or even predict, and having a little sage advice can go a long way. Mr. Claude Whatley offers such sage advice with a lot of wisdom as well as a good sense of humor. Understanding what to do, when it comes to money as well as how to do it and when to do it, and having your needs met and exceeded are important aspects to this interview. As well as getting to know Claude and where he comes from as a local Knolensville banker, here in TN. Don't be fooled, however, just because he is a local to Nashville, does not limit his view of the world market, he gives a very well rounded perspective when it comes to how money works, and how money can work for you. As always An Alternative View looks at every aspect of life and how we live it and what choices we make. Whether it's the music business, see the interview with Jerry Foster, the spiritual side of life, see the interview with Shannon Grace, or how to best work with your money, as in this episode, this show will always work to give you different, positive and different perspectives to uplift your life. In this episode, as always, your hosts, (Rev) Deborah Bishop, Paula Allen, and Lorenzo Hickey do their very best to guide and advise. This week, the topic is, an all too common practice out in the virtual world, but . . . is it an effective practice? When you copycat someone else's stuff it's never really yours and therefore it will never be entirely or better said authentically your brand. This might be ok if it's to prove market share, or to broaden your message, however for the most part when you copycat the question becomes whether or not it truly serves you. Most consumers are pretty savvy these days which means they are pretty aware of when someone is copying someone else. You might be good at it however and this could mean that it could work for you, but we believe only if you look at what others are doing as a template. There are several sides to this conversation and you can hear them all. The Social Media perspective, the media and broadcasting your brand perspective and the best business practices for growing your business perspective. Always fun, we know you will get great value from this show and invite you to share it with some friends. To contact us directly please email Deborah at TheFactoryInternational@gmail.com.

It is as if everyone thinks that chaos is only about the "bad" stuff and we are not relating it to the good stuff that is out there and actually was created by chaos itself! Chaos is not just destructive in fact I believe that it may be seen that way because we don't know what to do with it and equate it to negative things like confrontation or stress. How about considering that Chaos is the energy of creation and that is can actually be an amazing tool to support your success and your future! Do you have feedback or questions?
