Brother2Brother is once again joined by Chris Cornell @BiggestComeback one of our favorite guys on Twitter.  Chris continues to push his limits physically and mentally as he transitions towards running his first half marathon in his late 50s.   We discussed the balance of strength and cardio in fitness and that these do not need to be mutually exclusive.  Athletes tend to stick to what they are good at on both ends of the spectrum and we broke down the importance for both strength and endurance athletes to step out of their comfort zone. Finally, we discussed how community has impacted our fitness growth and helped to improve our confidence as we continue to share our stories.
Brother2Brother is joined by Michael Geisel @MichaelGeisel pharmacist and residency director at Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center.  We discussed the current state of our healthcare system and how pharmaceuticals continue to be used as a bandaid for symptoms rather than providing patients with the knowledge and resources for positive sustainable habits.  We discussed the role of Big Pharma and their mafia like role in educating and controlling the direction of healthcare.  Finally, we discussed ways individuals and healthcare providers can create change individually and how they can best advocate for their own health.   Continue to follow Brother2Brother @Chrisboettcher9 and @Brettboettcher1.
