We have all found ourselves in the need of urgent help when it comes to work, however some roles (or maybe it's people) seem to need this "urgent" support a bit more than others. So, this is the time to say, how do I create a support network, that I get the support I need in these "urgent" times, but also not pee everyone off in the process. And we've created an approach to do this.As always, thoughts and comments welcome
An experimental culture is great and will help you with your always on change framework (which is needed in today's world), however unfortunately, you can't jump straight to this state. First, you need to build an iterative approach towards change. To allow your employees time to get used to and grow in confidence with applying change within the "real world".Listen to how you can apply this approach & how it builds to eventually provide your own experimental culture. All the best on your company change journeys and as usual, if you need a little extra guidance, Edwards Inspire (www.edwardsinspire.com) is happy to help.
Welcome to the “Create a connected company change culture” podcast series, where we give tips & discussion points on how to create an effective & hopefully engaged company culture from within. And in this episode, which we’ve stolen from our "power of being you” podcast series (the full playlist you can get on YouTube). We talk about the importance of using empowering words, consciously choosing a different vocabulary that not only strengthens your team's connection, but probably more importantly, especially during this time of physically working apart from each other, shows a continued support for each other. And, as always, if you need a little extra help connecting to your company culture, we're here if you need us www.edwardsinspire.com.
We're constantly asked "how can I build a rapport when I can't meet them face to face", "I just don't see how it will be the same"; and the latter is correct, it's not going to be the same, but that doesn't mean it can't be achieved, it also means there's an opportunity to have some fun with it.So, listen for our take on things, we might have social distancing, but it doesn't mean we can't create meaningful connections and we can't wait for a supposed "norm" to return. Like everything to do with change, we learn and adapt, so this is our way of adapting and building a rapport remotely - we would love to hear yours.Edwards Inspire, we're here to help connect the company change dots www.edwardsinspire.com
