She was booked and visible, but revenue only grew when she took on more work. KJ is a two-time bestselling author and founder of Hearsay PR, where she's spent nearly three decades helping founders become the person everyone is talking about. In today’s case study, she walks us through her exact service restructure, including cutting more than half her service menu and resetting pricing around outcomes instead of deliverables. These changes increased her average client revenue by 2–3x while significantly reducing her work time by 40 hours per week. A Facebook and Instagram ads expert and conversion optimization strategist, and the host of the Get Paid Podcast, Claire is known for making ads actually make sense without the jargon or an expensive agency eating your margins. Over the past seven years, email marketer and agency founder Kieryn Wang grew her hourly rate by 1,300% while cutting her workweek down to under 10 hours, averaging multiple six figures a year in the process. In today's case study, Kieryn breaks down how she’s steadily reducing her hours year over year while simultaneously raising her hourly earnings from ALLMOST, the boutique email marketing agency she founded nearly a decade ago. Most brands have worked with an agency that felt like an external vendor. Rachel Leslie is building something different. As the founder and editor-in-chief of Lāer Studio, Rachel has spent years developing a hybrid creative partner model that embeds her copywriting team directly into the brands they support - from their internal Slack channels to their campaign briefs. With clients like Away, Zola, Avocado Green Mattress, and FILA, she's seen firsthand what changes when a creative relationship goes long-term and the brand finally has a creative partner they can actually lean on. In this episode, Rachel breaks down how she structures her team, how embedded support makes a difference to her clients during high-pressure moments, and how she keeps healthy boundaries without sacrificing the partnership model. She also shares what’s evolving with agencies and in-house creative teams in 2026 and beyond.  Connect with Rachel: Website: https://laerstudio.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/laerstudio/ Workshop: https://www.linkedin.com/in/rachelaleslie Loving our bonus content and want more Cubicle to CEO in your ears? Gemma Bonham-Carter has been making money online since before Instagram existed. After building a 7-figure education business helping over 20,000 entrepreneurs, she made a bold move: retiring multiple signature programs to go all-in on AI education in a market flooded with generic ChatGPT content.  While most online educators struggled in 2025, Gemma had her best year yet and is now targeting $10M. The founder of AI All Stars and host of the annual AI Unlocked conference, Gemma is a recognized voice in the industry with features in Entrepreneur, Inc., Business Insider, and Fast Company. But what sets her apart isn't the accolades - it's how she thinks about AI as business infrastructure. In this episode, she pulls back the curtain on what actually made her recession-proof when others weren't, why she was confident enough to retire the offers that were working, and the one mindset shift that could move your business forward this week. Tiffany McQuaid is the Regional Director of Strategy and Performance at SERHANT and author of The INth Degree: How To Stand Out By Going All In. Tiffany’s case study looks at how she built a multi-million dollar real estate brokerage in a crowded market through creative community events like a concert series, stone crab festivals, and safari-themed open houses that created brand awareness and meaningful relationships. The results? $22 million in real estate sales in her first year of hosting events and a 400% increase in office foot traffic. In today's episode, Tiffany unpacks the full strategy behind "Rockin' on the Bay" and her broader community creation event playbook —including how she got the first event off the ground with no budget and why experience-based marketing continues to outperform everything else she's tried. She has built and scaled multiple companies, including a financial services firm, while raising a family. Today, Julia helps women entrepreneurs scale to 7 & 8 figures by firing themselves from the day-to-day and stepping into true CEO leadership to build businesses that create freedom, impact, and legacy. To give us insight into what that looks like in practice, this conversation will focus on the identity shift required to move from operator to visionary and why doing “more” stops working after 7 figures. Send us a DM @cubicletoceo Dr. Nata Salvatori, founder of the Accidental CEO, works with entrepreneurs who have built reliable revenue but are still tangled in the weeds of their business. In today’s case study, we’ll be examining how Nata hosted a 24 hour auction on Instagram for her VIP day service, sparking a bidding war that resulted in $9,700 in related sales. The magic here wasn't just in auctioning off a VIP day, but it was also the pre-auction, during auction, and post-auction stack of actions that built on each other to get the most juice out of her squeeze. We go over a 9-page document with all of the details of her strategy and execution, so listen in to discover how this unique marketing campaign turned into a visibility play, a list builder, a workshop filler, and a VIP day booking system all rolled into one. You don’t need a viral audience to monetize social media. Jess Freeman is proof. With a small, non-viral audience on Threads, she secured $6,000 in summit sponsorships in just two months — without a hard sell, course, or product launch. The founder of Jess Creatives and The Ordinary Business, Jess has spent 14 years building a service-based business, but recently found incredible success when the idea for a summit dedicated to ‘ordinary’ business owners fell into her lap. In this episode, she breaks down how she monetized her small but mighty Threads platform, her approach to locking in four figures in event sponsorships, and how she leveraged ordinary relatability to create extraordinary demand. I'm still binge listening this podcast and so far I love it, but not a fan of the new format she decided to go with. the "lightning round questions" so are irrelevant to the podcast, I've been skipping through them. I liked the old format she had been using. like I said I'm still binge listening so hopefully the more I catch up the better it gets or she goes back to the old format. before the "new format", I was enjoying the informative guests and subjects and the advice for new entrepreneurs such as myself. So I'm rating this podcast 3 stars for now and then I'll update after I catch up all the way
