Cutoffs & Coffee Episode 55 CT & James DiBiasio, with Miles Burris, Actor & Former NFL LB Where to find them: IG: @therealct @jpdibiasio_ @milesjamesburris Miles Burris refers to himself as “dreamer.”  Growing up the youngest of 5 children, he spent a lot of time thinking, creating, and dreaming.  He ultimately ended up manifesting a career in the NFL, playing for the Oakland Raiders from 2012 to 2014.  In his rookie season, Burris immediately became a regular part of the Raiders' defense, starting all but one game that season. Cutoffs & Coffee Episode 52 CT & James DiBiasio, with Andrew Carber, College Golf to Professional Baseball, to Professional Stunt Double (“Hustle” on Netflix) Where to find them: IG: @therealct @jpdibiasio_ @t3performance @daddycarbs Andrew Carber is, literally, one in a million..probably less.  Carber originally went to Clemson University to pursue a collegiate golf career.  After taking some advice from fellow Tiger Mike Williams (NFL WR), Carber decided to pursue pitching in the MLB.  After a short, but promising baseball career was cut short due to Covid-19, he once again made a pivot, and pursued basketball at the professional level.  A few months later, Carber was shooting a Netflix film called “Hustle.” In this episode, we talk about the mindset, and the physical training Carber went through to have success at a very high level, in multiple sports! He has worked with a broad range of clients, from young players just beginning their basketball journey to NBA and Overseas professionals. Coach JB takes pride in being detailed in his teaching believing the better he is able to break down skills and concepts the better his players will be able to learn and progress. Playing his high school basketball at Oberlin High School, Coach finished his career as Oberlin High School’s all-time leading scorer as well as the all-time Leader in assists, steals and 3pt field goals made. He was named Lorain County Mr. Basketball his senior year and earned all conference, county, district and all-state honors. My motivation was not only pushing athletes to their highest physical and mental potential but pushing myself as well. After suffering a spinal cord injury in May of 2012, I went from being on top of the world both mentally and physically to being what I refer to as “Zeroed Out”. He first started training other clients in January of 2009.  As his clients started seeing good results, more got interested, and his brand grew from there. Before he knew it, he was training some of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse basketball players, training a Division I basketball recruit from a local high school, and even running the university basketball team's preseason conditioning class as an undergraduate student.
