She provides nutrition education for patients who undergo major abdominal surgery to help them adjust to their new way of living. Working in the hospital for many years, she's realized that obtaining good health can not be learned in a 15-min diet education which most patients receive while hospitalized; with that being said, Vickie has taken her love for educating and has started her own Virtual Private Practice to provide more in-depth counseling to those who are looking to live a healthier life. After becoming a mother, she quickly learned how challenging it can be to balance newborn life while finding the time to prepare meals.
