If you’re on a fertility path and social media feels like a minefield. If posts, comments, or even something I share recoil in you, this episode is for you. We dive deep into the idea that those emotional reactions aren’t random or shameful. They’re messages. They’re clues from your body and soul pointing to what is or isn’t aligned. Using Dr. David Hawkins’ Map of Consciousness, we explore how emotions live on a spectrum: from shame, fear, and frustration up to acceptance, love, peace, and how you can begin reading your emotions instead of repressing or judging them. You’ll leave this episode with a new practice: when you’re triggered, pause, get curious, and ask, What is this emotion trying to tell me? What is the deeper truth to this? What needs to change in order for me to be more aligned with this truth? Key Takeaways: Emotional reactions (anger, jealousy, frustration) are rarely random. They’re signals. The Map of Consciousness shows us that emotions vibrate at different frequencies; the “lower ones” feel heavy in the body. Instead of identifying with negative emotions (“I am jealous”), we can use them as a guide: what’s misaligned in my world for this reaction to arise? When someone announces a pregnancy and you feel triggered, that reaction often reflects your own longing and desire to become a parent. Your emotions are not enemies, they’re messengers and compasses. In the next episode, we will dig deeper into jealousy and comparison: how they show up, and how to transform them. Relevant Research & Context: Emotional distress (anger, frustration, grief) is a known response to infertility; many navigating infertility report higher rates of anxiety, depression, and loss of control (resource: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7885086/) Women with infertility are more likely to experience mental health challenges, influenced by stigma, social isolation, and lack of emotional support. (resources: https://bmcwomenshealth.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12905-023-02828-9) This episode supports: Anyone who’s felt triggered by pregnancy announcements, social media posts, or conversations People navigating infertility who feel shame, guilt, or frustration around their emotions Listeners who want a deeper, more spiritual/emotional approach to fertility support Practitioners or coaches who work in fertility and want language, frameworks, and deeper emotional insight Connect with Jess: @herfertility.support Visit: Her Fertility Support (for courses, offerings, community) Leave a review or share this with someone who might need to hear it! Trying to conceive can feel overwhelming, especially when the tests say “everything looks normal” but deep down you know something isn’t adding up. That’s where support can make all the difference. In this episode of Her Fertility, I sit down with my client (and now dear friend) Dr. Anna Pearl, a chiropractor who knew she didn’t want to wait until she felt isolated or discouraged to get help on her fertility journey. Together, we navigated confusing symptoms, uncovered uterine fibroids that had been overlooked, and created a holistic plan that honored both the science and the soul of fertility. ✨ Today, Anna is pregnant (happy dance) and she shares how support, intuition, and persistence led her here. What you’ll hear in this episode: Why getting support before you feel stuck can change everything. The balance of evidence-based tools with energy work, meditation, and “fertility magic.” How writing, reiki, and even small mindset shifts helped Anna release old blocks. Why painful periods are common but not normal, and what that means for fertility. What it feels like to move from confusion to clarity on the journey to pregnancy. Anna’s story is a powerful reminder that fertility is not just about lab results, it’s about listening to your body, asking the right questions, and having someone in your corner who sees the whole picture. After taking a break this summer to soak in time with my son (who just turned six!), I’m back behind the mic: refreshed, caffeinated, and ready to dive into some big conversations. In this episode, we’re tackling a term that has quickly entered the fertility space: Restorative Reproductive Medicine (RRM). At first glance, RRM might sound supportive, holistic, and helpful, but when we take a closer look, there are major red flags. From cherry-picked science to language designed to villainize doctors and Western medicine, RRM is a growing ideology that could actually harm women seeking fertility support. Together, we’ll explore: ✨ What RRM is and why it’s suddenly everywhere ✨ The real problems with its messaging and methods ✨ Why language matters in fertility conversations (and how words can manipulate our choices) ✨ The danger of cutting men, science, and IVF out of the conversation ✨ How to approach your fertility journey with both research and soul guidance My mission has always been to combine evidence-based fertility research with energy, spirituality, and soul alignment, because your fertility is your vitality. You deserve access to all the information, not just the parts that fit someone else’s agenda. If you’ve ever felt confused, pressured, or pulled in different directions while navigating your fertility journey, this episode will help you cut through the noise and find clarity.
