Wonder, magic and so many giggles existed when we were little girls. We were fascinated by the bugs outside, exploded in laughter often, and moved our bodies with full expression. It felt good and simple. So today’s meditation will help you reconnect to the child within you. The one who is deeply connected to the present moment, the wide range of her emotions and the magic that exists all around her.
Let’s begin by settling into a position that’s comfortable for you,
Closing your eyes and gently bringing your attention onto your breath.
Find its rhythm,
Its soft circular motion that regulates your body.
Expand your breathing,
Slowing down your heartbeat,
Slowing down your mind.
And find a thread of stillness inside of you.
Be here,
And breathe…
PAUSE…
See if you can imagine yourself as a child,
Standing outside in the sun,
Feeling the grass under your feet,
And holding a small wildflower you just picked.
Give yourself a moment to look at it,
To really look at it.
PAUSE...
Let your eyes widen in wonder as they explore the colorful petals,
Noticing the almost invisible grooves etched into each of them,
The fuzzy center from which everything explodes towards the sun.

This week, our theme is refresh.
To refresh means to give new strength or energy; to reinvigorate. So this morning’s meditation will help you breathe in new life and invigorate your day with more peace, energy and love.
So let yourself settle into a position that’s comfortable for you,
Where you can be relaxed and alert.
And then invite yourself to find your breath,
Perhaps even silently saying breathe in, as you breath in,
And breathe out as you breathe out,
Slowing yourself down with every breathing cycle.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
PAUSE…
Relax,
And let anything that’s lingering in your mind,
Your body,
Or your soul,
Dissolve from you right now.
So you can be present,
One with your breath.
One with this moment.
Let it all go,
And be here.

Today, we are going to embark on a journey to soothe your inner world, to find the peace that resides within you, and to let it emanate outwards.

Begin by finding a comfortable position,
Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale out through your mouth.
Take another deep breath, allowing your belly to expand, and exhale slowly, feeling your body relax.
PAUSE…
As you sit here, notice any thoughts that come up.
Acknowledge them, but don't engage with them.
Allow them to float by like clouds in the sky.

Our minds can fill up with thoughts so easily,
Spinning with all the details of life, worries and planning that can quickly overwhelm us.
Meditation becomes such a wonderful tool to use to quiet the mind and connect with our soul.
So the intention of today’s meditation is to help dissolve all those thoughts in your head, to let your mind be liquid, and to connect you to the peace inside of you.
Ease into a comfortable position,
And close your eyes.
Find your breath,
And notice that the attention that was just focused on all those swirling thoughts in your head,
Is now focused on your breathing.
Let yourself observe.
Noticing the soft rise and fall of your chest,
The movement of air coming in and out of your nose,
The way your breathing softens some of the tense parts of your body,
Releasing pressure from your jaw,
Your shoulders,
Your arms and your legs.
PAUSE…
Now see if you can expand your breathing just a little bit,
Breathing in just a little deeper,
And breathing out just a little longer.
Let it slow you down,
Relax you.
Root you.

Let’s begin by bringing your attention to your breath.
Focus on the rise and fall of your chest as you inhale and exhale.
Notice the sensation of the air moving in and out of your body, and allow yourself to become fully present in this moment.
PAUSE…
Gently bring your attention to your body.
Scan your body from head to toe, noticing any areas of tension or discomfort.
As you become aware of these areas, imagine a warm, comforting light surrounding them, soothing and healing any discomfort or pain.
PAUSE…
As you continue to breathe deeply and focus on your body, repeat the following affirmation to yourself: "I deserve to care for myself in the same way I care for others."
