Bionic Nutrition Couch to 5k series
My client was trapped in her career as a chef, burnout, led to a breakdown, she was broken. However, I helped her get her self esteem and confidence back. She now works in a completely different industry, is happy, healthy and thriving
When I trained as an NLP practitioner, mindfulness coach and life coach of was told to use SMART goals. I wanted something more unique, something that people could relate to me, so I invented the BIONIC goals.
If I'm told I can't do something this just makes me stronger and I'll make sure I do it. I've proved that many times since my accident in 2017. 'Without struggle there can be no progress'
In February 2017 I had a life changing cycling accident, which left me with a 20% chance of survival. I had major facial reconstructive surgery and when my employers told me I wasn't performing as well as I should be I had that light bulb moment and walked out on the career that made me stressed. I retrained as a Coach, got my mental health and nutrition qualifications and now help others.
How I took a step backwards, found mindfulness, found peace in a frantic world. How I found my inner calm and became fulfilled again, but probably made one of the biggest career mistakes I could have done
How my life was mapped out for me by my parents, which led to a breakdown in 2013
You acknowledge that however hard you find it to be compassionate to others, it can feel even harder to bring kindness to yourself.
This very gently invites you to bring unsettling thoughts to mind and then observe how your body reacts.
Teaches you to observe your own thoughts and to look at them instead of seeing the world from inside them.
Letting your mind focus just on sounds and thoughts as they appear
One of the greatest ironies of mindful awareness is that it often seems to evaporate just when you need it most. When you're feeling increasingly burned out, you tend to forget just how useful it can be for dealing with the feelings of being overwhelmed. This is why it's important to have a shorter meditation.
This places particular emphasis on the sensations of breathing as you guide your awareness through the whole body.
Shows you how to focus your mind on your body and your breath and release stress and anxiety

This is a short meditation to listen to daily. It will slow down your mind, help you to focus and feel empowered and motivated to do whatever you want.
In this episode I talk about how I dealt with being isolated after a, serious accident in 2017 and how I had to find new hobbies to do from home, because I was unable to go out. #selfisolation #newskills #staypositive #onedayatatime
