In this week's episode, I sit down with the founder of Sarah Findlay. Sarah is driven by her mission to empower parents and early childhood educators to cultivate calm, mindful, and connected environments for the next generation. After experiencing burnout and embarking on her own holistic healing journey and life coaching career, Sarah blended her professional expertise as an early childhood teacher with indigenous wisdom and holistic practices. She saw a critical need for a more integrated approach that goes beyond traditional methods of parenting and teaching. Her offerings include 1:1 coaching packages, guides/ebooks, her podcast, and the 6-week signature program, Calm & Connection. These resources help adults develop emotional resilience, self-regulation, and secure attachments with children - equipping them with the tools she wishes she had during her teaching career and in early motherhood, fostering a more peaceful and intentional approach to both parenting and teaching. In this week's episode, I sit down with Rose Videler from The Well Mama. After experiencing a challenging postpartum with her first baby and feeling ill-equipped to care for herself, Rose became hell-bent on finding the root cause of her struggles so she could begin to heal physically and emotionally. After confiding in other mothers Rose realised she wasn’t alone in her struggles and that they were also facing similar challenges. Rose refuses to accept that 1: how we felt was normal and 2: There wasn’t much we could do about it. Rose permanently resigned from her role as a theatre nurse and dove head first into studying with Oh Baby School of Holistic Nutrition to become a Postpartum Nutrition Consultant to understand how to prevent and manage postpartum conditions. Rose now works with expectant mothers to help them consciously plan & prepare for postpartum with their well-being at the forefront inside her online course The Well Mama where she blends her knowledge as a mother, nurse, and Postpartum Nutrition Consultant to deliver holistic and evidence-based information/resources to support mothers to be and stay well after birth.
